We try to have breaks around your formalities. If your wedding does not have any formalities, when we do take breaks, we will make sure there will be music playing throughout the whole night.

Yes 100%. If your guests are still talking and catching up, then we will just play some easy listening background music. However, if they are ready to dance and party, then we will definitely cater for their vibe. We are really all about working with how your night flows.

Yes 100%. If you have a spotify list in mind or if you would like us to curate a list for you, we can definitely work something out for you.

We do not usually provide wireless microphones. However, if you do require them, we can definitely arrange to have them hired and look after the whole process for you. We would just need advance notice.

As musicians we always have pride in expressing ourselves. We always personally aim to look our best and we always want to look respectable for your big day.

We usually work around your formalities. 

 

For your ceremony, we will perform as your guests are awaiting your arrival and also after your ceremony as everyone is catching up and taking photos.

 

For your Reception, we usually start off with easy listening music as everyone catches up. We also like to work around the timing of your formalities and catering, we try our very best to flow with the vibe of your big day as timing will always change throughout the night.

Yes, most definitely. If you hire us as a Duo, Al is guaranteed to get at least one of your guests up dancing.

Yes 100%. Luckily in Newcastle we have a very supportive music family. If we are unable to perform, we will definitely do our very best to have someone to replace any of us.

Yes, most definitely. We love working with other vendors to help make your day run as smoothly as possible.

We only require accommodation if we are usually more than 1.5hrs away from home. Equipment wise, we should have everything we need. The only thing would be phone reception or wi-fi. This is required during our Dj section of the night. If there is no reception available at your venue, please let us know in advance.

Yes, most definitely. Crocq has traveled to Seattle, Thailand, New Zealand, Fiji, USA, Philippines and Vanuatu to name a few Destination Weddings. Please kindly let us know via your initial booking enquiry and we can definitely taylor a package to suit your needs.

*If for any reason or circumstance you were to cancel your event, then your booking deposit is non-refundable.  

*In the case of a cancellation due to COVID or anything related to the pandemic, any payments made prior to your event date are non-refundable. However, we will definitely negotiate a credit that can be used for a specific single future event, which would need to be used within a specific timeframe. 

No, Not really. I guess it would be more on the venue. In some cases venues have sound restrictions or cut-off times due to their operating license. It would be best to check if this would be the case with your venue.

Yes, most definitely. We always recommend this during the Dj section. However during the night we usually work best when we can freely read the room and assess the vibe as your night progresses.

Yes, most definitely. Also, if you have a Spotify playlist you would like, we could use that too.

We always do our best to cater for your guests. If we know it we can definitely play it for you. If we don’t know, we could definitely give it a try for you. Or worst case we could play it during the Dj section. Please note, we do require phone reception or access to wi-fi to be able to download songs if requested on the fly.

We do have our own lighting. However if you do need anything specific like for example, Smoke machine, cordless mic, additional lighting. We can definitely source and provide a quote for you.

If we usually have a spare speaker available in case of any issues. We would do our very best to help solve any technical issues.

We definitely aim to set up earlier during the day, just to make sure we have everything ready before your guests arrive.

To place a booking, a booking fee of 50% is needed to secure your date (non-refundable*) 

*This means, for example, the date you allocated changes from the 14th to the 17th and you still wanted to book us for the gig. If we, unfortunately, happened to be pre-booked for another function on the 17th then the booking fee is non-refundable. But we would do our best to assist you in any way. 

*Furthermore, if your new date lands on a future weekend date (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) a minimum fee of $400+GST may be applied.  

*If for any reason or circumstance you were to cancel your event, then your booking deposit is non-refundable.  

*Remaining payment (Final Payment) is due a week prior to your event. Any advanced payments made prior to the week before your wedding are non-refundable.

*Payments made via credit card will incur a 2.9% transaction fee

*In the case of a cancellation due to COVID or anything related to the pandemic, any payments made prior to your event date are non-refundable. However, we will definitely negotiate a credit that can be used for a specific single future event, which would need to be used within a specific timeframe.  

*Late payments (i.e payments not made on the agreed date) will incur a 10% late payment fee.

 

Balance to be paid a week prior to the event. 

We can definitely accommodate for overtime requests. They can be negotiated on the night of the event.

Yes, we try our best to cater to all genres. Whatever we can’t play live, we can definitely make up for in our Dj section.
